Research Trainee

Our Research Trainee program represents an outstanding opportunity to discover the world of business from a legal perspective. It is also an excellent way for you to get to know Roschier and for us to get to know you.

As a Research Trainee, you will be able to enhance your research skills and legal knowledge. Your tasks will include researching a variety of legal matters and rulings, monitoring news and legislation, administering databases, and assisting our lawyers in investigating specific areas of law. You will also be part of the team responsible for maintaining our library.

You will work with all our practice groups. During your first days at the office you will be introduced to your colleagues and your tasks. Our extensive introduction program will help you get acquainted with your colleagues, your tasks and our firm. You will have your own tutor and assistant contact to guide you in the practicalities of working at Roschier.

During your traineeship, you will be invited to participate in various events and training sessions arranged by Roschier University, our unique curriculum of skills training and people development programs.

Who can apply

The Research Trainee program is intended for law students who have completed a minimum of four semesters.

When to apply

The application periods open up a few months before each semester, we have one application period during spring and one during fall. Please note that the application periods are subject to change.

Start date

At the beginning of each semester. For spring, the start date is usually in the middle of January and for fall, in the beginning of September.

Working hours and duration

We acknowledge that your studies are important, which is why the program is part-time (minimun one day per week) and fixed-term (one semester at a time).

You can work with us as a trainee for 9 months in total (Thesis Program excluded).

Language skills

In this position you need fluent Swedish and English. Other language skills are appreciated.
