Johanna Lilja is the new President of the Finnish AIPPI Group

Partner Johanna Lilja has been appointed President of the Finnish AIPPI Group. The term of office is four years.

“I look forward to the coming four years. AIPPI does important work in the field of global harmonization of intellectual property,” says Roschier Partner Johanna Lilja.

“My short-term goal as the new President of the Finnish group is to activate local AIPPI members in the dialogue on how to harmonize laws, but also to engage in discussions on how to update existing laws in light of new phenomena, such as AI created work and innovations. AIPPI is an excellent forum for industries to have their voices heard in, and my aim is to increase the awareness of the Finnish industry in AIPPI’s work. I would also like to encourage Nordic AIPPI members to take an even more active role in the work of the international AIPPI.”

The Finnish AIPPI Group (Suomen AIPPI ry) is a non-profit association operating as the national chapter of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI, Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle).

AIPPI is the world’s leading international organization dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of intellectual property. It is a politically neutral, non-profit organization, based in Switzerland with over 9 000 Members representing more than 125 countries.
