OX2’s offshore wind farm projects

Roschier is advising OX2 in the development and permitting of offshore wind farm projects.

OX2, a renewable energy company, is currently developing offshore wind farm projects named Halla, Laine and Tyrsky within Finland’s exclusive economic zone. Upon completion, these wind farms have the potential generate up to 29 TWh of renewable electricity, which would equate to approximately 37% of Finland’s energy production based on 2023 figures (78 TWh).

These offshore wind farm projects are in the early stages of development. The Finnish Government has granted exploration permits, and the projects are presently undergoing environmental impact assessment procedures.

OX2 develops, builds and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects.
