Paula Airas appointed Dispute Resolution Counsel
Roschier strengthens its senior expert pool in the area of cross-border dispute resolution as Paula Airas takes on a counsel role in the firm's Dispute Resolution practice.
The promotion of Paula Airas to Dispute Resolution Counsel in Roschier’s Dispute Resolution practice in Helsinki reflects the firm’s continued focus on dispute resolution. By strengthening its team of senior advisors within litigation and international arbitration, the firm continues to develop its full-service platform in these areas.
Paula is specialized in commercial dispute resolution including civil and criminal litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. She has a versatile profile, covering for example complex insolvency matters with international aspects and various other areas such as corporate law, white collar crime, projects and energy, international trade and product liability. Due to her previous extensive experience in transactions, she has special emphasis on M&A and other transactional disputes.
Paula holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Lapland, and she has studied law at Université Laval in Quebec, Canada. She joined Roschier in 2008.
The appointment is effective 1 June 2019.
