Prospera Law Firm Review 2022: Roschier’s legal competence the best in the Finnish market

The recent Kantar Prospera Tier 1 Law Firm Review, conducted in Finland, reconfirms Roschier’s strong market standing. The survey respondents rank us number one in overall performance, acknowledging our lawyers' legal competence in key practice areas as the best in the market.

In the survey, published on 21 February 2022, we receive the highest score in overall performance in both respondent groups, All Tier 1 and Tier 1A. Clients commend in particular the skills of our lawyers, the high level of legal advisory and specialist competence, as well as our capacity to handle large projects – the first three being attributes which the survey respondents deemed as most important when choosing a legal advisor.

We are also proud to excel in the category Best legal competence – All legal areas again this year. In terms of individual areas, the respondents rate our expertise as the best in the market in Banking & finance; Capital markets; Competition & EU law; Dispute resolution; Intellectual property, IT, telecom, media & entertainment; M&A; Tax; and Private equity.

“Having maintained the number one position in the survey for eight consecutive years is a fantastic achievement and we owe this to our skilled lawyers and great clients, who trust us with their important business decisions,” comments Managing Partner Mikko Manner. “Our long-time strategy is to have the best expertise in the market at our clients’ service, and I think the survey confirms that we have succeeded in delivering on that.”

The Kantar Prospera Tier 1 Law Firm Review 2022 presents an evaluation of ten business law firms in Finland by some 300 companies representing the largest purchasers of legal services: The All Tier 1 respondent group representing organizations with a minimum fee volume past year in the Finnish market of EUR 150,000 and the Tier 1A group representing organizations with a minimum fee volume of EUR 600,000. The interviews were conducted between 26 October 2021 and 31 January 2022.
