Roschier acted for Prime Capital in the establishment of a joint venture with CPC Finland

Independent asset manager and financial services provider Prime Capital and wind power company CPC Finland have established a joint venture to build and operate a green hydrogen/e-methane plant with a capacity of up to 200MW in Finland. Roschier represented Prime Capital in the transaction.

The new production facility will start producing green hydrogen and synthetic methane completely emission-free using renewable energy sources.

The plant will be established close to Kristinestad on the Western Coast of Finland. Construction of the plant is scheduled to start in 2024, with commissioning scheduled for 2025. The transaction also includes the construction of five different sized windfarms, which will be supplying green energy to the planned facility.

Based in Frankfurt, Prime Capital AG is an independent asset management firm and financial services provider, owned by management and employees. Prime Capital was awarded the “Green Fund of the Year 2022” for its “Prime Green Energy Infrastructure Fund” at the Wind Investment Awards. Prime Capital has been investing in onshore wind projects in Finland since 2016.
