Roschier acted for Sibanye-Stillwater in the voluntary cash offer to minority shareholders of Keliber

Multinational mining and metals group Sibanye Stillwater Limited has made a voluntary cash offer to the minority shareholders of Finnish mining and battery chemical company Keliber Oy. Roschier represented Sibanye-Stillwater in the voluntary offer process.

The completion of Sibanye-Stillwater’s voluntary cash offer of approximately EUR 190 million to minority shareholders of Keliber, other than Finnish Minerals Group, has resulted in Sibanye-Stillwater’s shareholding in Keliber increasing to an effective 84.96%. Following the completion of the voluntary offer, Finnish Minerals Group holds an effective 13.90% of Keliber, with other remaining minority shareholders holding an effective 1.14%.

Keliber is a Finnish mining and battery chemical company which owns the Keliber project, an advanced lithium hydroxide project located in the Kaustinen region of Finland which intends to sustainably produce battery hydroxide utilizing its own ore.
