Roschier advised Bonnier Books in the sale of their share of Cappelen Damm to Egmont
Bonnier Books have divested their 50% share of Norwegian publishing house, Cappelen Damm, to Danish publishing house Egmont. Roschier represented Bonnier Books in the transaction.
Cappelen Damm AS is a cultural and educational enterprise, focusing on the distribution of literature through bookstores, book clubs and publishing. Cappelen Damm’s publishing house produces a wide range of trade books in both traditional and electronic media. It is Norway’s largest publishing house.
Bonnier Books gathers Bonnier’s book publishing and retail activities, ranging from traditional and digital-first publishing, to quality bookstore chains, paperback retailers and digital subscription services. Over 2 000 people across seven countries work within Bonnier Books and its annual turnover is approximately SEK 7 billion.
