Roschier advised Citycon in the acquisition of the remaining 50% share in Kista Galleria

Nasdaq Helsinki-listed property manager and developer Citycon has acquired the remaining interest in Kista Galleria in Stockholm, Sweden. Roschier represented Citycon in the acquisition and the renegotiation of the existing loan agreement.

Citycon has successfully completed the transaction to acquire the remaining interest in Kista Galleria from Canadian CCP Investments. Citycon has managed the centre since 2012, owning 50% of the asset. After the transaction, Citycon has 100% ownership. Following the transaction, Citycon assumed seller’s share of existing debt and the new loan is secured by additional two assets located in Sweden. Kista Galleria is located in the Järva area, and it is one of Sweden’s largest and most visited centres with approximately 15.5 million visitors yearly. The centre encompasses shops, restaurants, and a broad range of services and experiences.
