Roschier advised First State Investments on the reorganization of Swedegas and Weum Gas into Nordion Energi

Swedish gas sector companies Swedegas and Weum Gas have been reorganized into Nordion Energi. Roschier advised UK-based global asset management company First State Investments on the reorganization.

Nordion Energi is a leading energy and infrastructure company with its operating base in southern and western Sweden. Swedegas is an infrastructure company that owns the gas transmission network in southwestern Sweden, and Weum is the country’s largest gas distributor.

The transaction involved the UK, Luxembourg and Sweden. Roschier acted with regard to Sweden, which is Weum’s, Swedegas’ and Nordion’s main market.
