Roschier advised Puuilo in its EUR 270 million IPO and listing on Nasdaq Helsinki
The initial public offering of Finnish retail store chain Puuilo has been oversubscribed and the listing has been completed with a final subscription price of EUR 6.60 per share. This corresponds in total to a market capitalization of Puuilo of approximately EUR 560 million immediately following the offering. Roschier acted as legal adviser to Puuilo.
The offering attracted both Finnish and international investors and was oversubscribed multiple times. The number of shareholders in Puuilo will increase to more than 33,300. Trading of the shares commenced on the prelist of Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd on 24 June and on the official list of Nasdaq Helsinki on 28 June 2021.
Puuilo is a Finnish retail store chain established in 1982. The company is focused on, in particular, do-it-yourself, household and pet products. With 33 stores in different parts of Finland and a rapidly growing online store, Puuilo is one of the largest retailers in Finland focusing on consumer goods, measured by net sales.
