Roschier advised Sval Energi in its acquisition of half of a Finnish wind farm project
Sval Energi has acquired 50% of the Metsälamminkangas wind farm project from Lundin Petroleum. Sval Energi's part of the project is worth USD 100 million, which includes acquisition cost and future capital expenditure. Roschier acted as local counsel to Sval Energi.
The Metsälamminkangas wind farm is located in Vaala, Finland and will consist of 24 wind turbines with a total capacity of 132 MW when it starts its operations in 2022. It is being developed and constructed by OX2 AB, and will after completion also be operated by OX2.
Sval Energi AS is a privately-owned Norwegian energy company backed by Norwegian energy investor HitecVision. Lundin Petroleum AB is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with operations focused on Norway and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm
