Roschier advised Tallink in the listing of the group’s shares on Nasdaq Helsinki

Roschier represented AS Tallink Grupp, the leading European ferry operator in the Baltic sea, as well as a leading provider of ro-ro cargo services, in the listing of Tallink Grupp’s shares in the form of Finnish depository receipts (the “FDRs”) on Nasdaq Helsinki. Tallink’s FDRs are Finnish securities, which are in all material respects financially equivalent to Tallink’s ordinary shares that are listed on the Nasdaq Tallinn stock exchange. Tallink Grupp’s shares will also continue to be listed on the Nasdaq Tallinn stock exchange.

The trading in the Finnish share depositary receipts on Nasdaq Helsinki commenced on 3 December 2018. This was the first listing on the official list of Nasdaq Helsinki of an issuer based in the Baltic states.
