Roschier assists Finnish Battery Chemicals Oy in the permitting processes of the CAM plant project of their portfolio company Easpring Finland New Materials Oy.
At the first stage, the CAM Plant is targeted to produce annually 60,000 tonnes of cathode active material – a key component in batteries, in Kotka, Finland. The CAM plant is an integral part of establishing a battery value chain in Europe, while enhancing the degree of processing of Finnish minerals and fostering new economic activities in the Kymenlaakso region and Finland at large.
Finnish Battery Chemicals Oy is a subsidiary of the Finnish Minerals Group, a state-owned company.
