Roschier advises Luxcara on the acquisition of a 160 MW wind portfolio in Finland
Luxcara, a leading asset manager for renewable energy, has acquired the projects Välikangas, Sievi and Pihtipudas, located in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Roschier represented Luxcara in the transaction.
The wind portfolio will have a capacity of approximately 160 MW and was developed by ABO Wind AG, who will also build the plant as construction manager. Grid connection is expected for 2021. The produced electricity will be sold directly to an off-taker on the basis of a power purchase agreement (PPA).
Luxcara is an independent, German-based asset management firm with a European-wide solar and wind portfolio.
Roschier’s advisory team, mainly comprising Toni Siimes, Robert Utter, Sonia Lemarchand and Martti Ylinen, advised Luxcara on the transaction and conducted due diligence.
