Roschier Energy Lectures 2020 in Helsinki and Vaasa
Roschier continues its valuable cooperation with the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Law by offering lectures on energy law for students and representatives of the business community. This year's topic is European Gas Disputes. The lectures will be held in Helsinki and Vaasa in January.
The Roschier Energy lectures will host experienced speakers, including Professor of Energy Law Kim Talus, University of Helsinki, and Energy & Capital Markets Counsel Laura Huomo and Dispute Resolution Counsel Eva Storskrubb from Roschier. This year, the focus will be on disputes in the energy sector in general and in the gas sector in particular.
“This collaboration between science and law is very fruitful, and we are happy to be able to offer the opportunity to our students to gain valuable insight into the topic”, says Kim Talus.
“The European energy sector is a very dynamic one, with lots of changes happening and practices developing e.g. in the gas space. We think it is important to share knowledge about the changes in market structures and how this effects the possible disputes and strategies assumed , and very much look forward to the events”, says Laura Huomo.
The lectures, held on 8 and 9 January in Helsinki and Vaasa respectively, will be offered as a part of the university program, and the students participating will be entitled to study credits. Law students interested in participating may register via the university by using this link.
