Roschier launches Hire & Fire – a new employment law podcast
Hire & Fire exclusively covers topical employment law issues of interest for employers. It is the employer's easy-going guide on how to handle employment related issues.
Companies are paying significant attention to people-related matters today, in order to build work forces that take part in business transformation. In this context, employment law is becoming increasingly important for both employers and employees, but the regulations are tricky and mistakes can be expensive and detrimental to companies’ reputation.
In Roschier’s new podcast Hire & Fire, employment lawyers Victoria Bergholtz, Elin Osbeck and Jenny Welander Wadström discuss some of the most frequent questions and hot topics in this field.
“With companies’ increased attention to the people of the business, we wanted to find a more ‘personal’ way to reach out regarding employment law. Our main target group is employers who want to know more about employment law, but we hope our podcast will also be interesting to the general public, as the questions often are of general interest in society. Each episode will cover an employment law related topic that we often give legal advice on, such as dismissals and redundancy, non-compete restrictions, harassment and discrimination. We will discuss hot topics and recent events that employers are interested to know about”, says Jenny Welander Wadström, Roschier partner and head of the Employment practice in Sweden.
You can find the first episode of the podcast below and on Apple’s Podcaster platform. New episodes will be published on a regular basis, on Roschier’s webpage and on all major podcast platforms. Please note that the podcast is in Swedish.
