Roschier promotes four to Partner and Principal Associate

Altogether four lawyers across our offices in Helsinki and Stockholm step up to Partner and Principal Associate roles on 1 June 2022.

The promotions strengthen our senior capabilities and strategic offering in the areas of dispute resolution, M&A and private equity, tax and structuring, and employment law.

New Partners as of 1 June 2022:

Carl Persson

Carl’s practice focuses on domestic and international commercial arbitration, as well as litigation. He specializes in disputes relating to M&A transactions, securities and finance, director and auditor liability and white-collar crime proceedings, and he has acted as counsel in a significant number of arbitration and litigation proceedings in these areas. Carl is recognized as a ‘rising star’ in dispute resolution by The Legal 500 and as a ‘future leader’ in both arbitration and litigation by Who’s Who Legal. He is based in the Stockholm office.

Kiira Tuohimaa-Leisio 

Kiira is specialized in private M&A and private equity. She has extensive experience in advising both international and domestic private equity sponsors and corporate clients in complex cross-border M&A, joint ventures, investments and refinancing transactions. Her previous experience includes working in the Helsinki and London offices of a global law firm. In addition to her LL.M. degree, Kiira holds a M.Sc. degree in Law & Finance from the University of Oxford. She is based in the Helsinki office.

New Principal Associates as of 1 June 2022:

Andreas Bussman

Andreas has broad experience in high-end tax planning and structuring of complex domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, including management incentive programs, financing and other reorganizations for both public and private clients. In addition to his expertise in tax law, Andreas also has a broad understanding and practical experience of general corporate law, financing and general M&A. He is also regularly involved in tax litigation, tax audit, advance ruling and pre-discussion proceedings, and he regularly advises clients on tax aspects related to financial instruments. Andreas is based in the Helsinki office.

Mari Mohsen                                                                            

Mari is specialized in employment law with a particular focus on employment and labor law related disputes. She also has experience in advising on a wide variety of matters relating to complex corporate restructurings, co-operation procedures, termination of employment, collective bargaining agreements and terms of employment, as well as occupational safety and health matters, especially relating to psychological occupational health and safety issues and related investigations in the workplace. Named a “rising star” by The Legal 500, Mari is also acknowledged by Chambers and Partners as an ‘associate to watch’. She is based in the Helsinki office.
