Roschier represented Blackstone in the acquisition of a Swedish SEK 5.35 billion property portfolio from Corem

Funds managed by leading global real estate investor Blackstone Group have acquired a portfolio of properties from Corem Property Group AB (publ). The properties are situated in several larger Swedish cities and the portfolio is worth approximately SEK 5.35 billion. Roschier represented Blackstone in the transaction.

Blackstone’s newly acquired property portfolio consists of 47 properties located in Gothenburg, Jönköping, Malmö, Stockholm and Västerås. The total lettable area amounts to around 357 000 square meters, consisting mainly of premises for warehouse and logistics. The economic occupancy rate is 94 per cent.

Closing takes place in the middle of February 2023 regarding seven properties with the second closing in the middle of April 2023 regarding the rest of the properties. The agreement is conditional on the approval from the Swedish Competition Authority.
