Roschier represented Renewable Power Capital, a pan-European renewable energy investment platform.
The platform is established in 2020 and backed by CPP Investments, in the acquisition of a 50MW/50MWh ready-to-build battery storage project in the Southern Finnish region of Uusikaupunki from ib vogt, an international renewable energy development platform. This will be RPC’s first storage asset in Finland, a sector with significant investment potential.
The BESS project is one of the largest of its kind in Finland and is set to provide a variety of services to the nation’s power infrastructure for the next 30 years. This deal marks RPC’s entry into the Finnish storage sector, which it sees as a key pillar for growth in the coming years.
Roschier’s core advisory team comprised Toni Siimes, Rene Male and Lauri Heikkola.
