Roschier represented Veoneer in the split of the Zenuity group

The Zenuity group, a 50-50 joint venture between Veoneer and Volvo Cars, focused on the development of assisted and autonomous driving software, was recently split up and divided between the owners. Roschier represented Veoneer in the deal.

As part of the split, Zenuity’s operations in Sweden, Germany, the United States and China were divided between the owners, including the acquisition by Veoneer of Zenuity’s German and US subsidiaries, and the acquisition by Volvo Cars of Zenuity’s subsidiary in China.

Veoneer designs, manufactures and sells state-of-the-art software, hardware and systems for occupant protection, advanced driving assistance systems, and collaborative and automated driving to vehicle manufacturers globally.

Roschier acted as lead deal counsel to Veoneer in the transaction, along with local counsel in Germany and the United States. Our cross-border advisory team comprised Björn Winström, Niklas Östman, Björn Johansson Heigis, Jenny Welander Wadström, Mattias Jönsson, Emma Sopyllo, Mikael Hagström, Elin Gustavsson, Alexander Yeibio and Johan Gerhardsson.
