Roschier represents IK Investment Partners in the acquisition of KPMG Sweden’s Business Accounting Services
Roschier represented a fund advised by IK Investment Partners Ltd in the acquisition of the Business Accounting Services of KPMG AB Sweden.
The KPMG Business Accounting Services division acts within accounting, payroll and related advisory services, with 33 locations and approximately 300 employees across Sweden. In February 2018, IK announced the acquisition of PwC Sweden’s corresponding business, to be operated under the brand Aspia. The plan is to integrate Aspia and KPMG’s Business Accounting Services under the Aspia brand.
The transaction, which is expected to close in the fall of 2018, is subject to customary anti-trust approvals. The combined entities had a turnover of more than SEK 1.25 billion.
Roschier’s core team from the Private M&A practice consisted of Malin Leffler and Jens Bengtsson (lead partners) and David Antonovic (project manager), Malou Martinsson, Jeppa Persson, Mikael Hagström and Philip Wahlgren.
