Roschier represents Solör in the acquisition of the heating business of Strängnäs municipality
Solör Bioenergi Fjärrvärme AB has agreed to acquire the district heating business of SEVAB Strängnäs Energi AB for approximately SEK 1.2 billion for 80% of the shares. Roschier advises the buyer in the transaction.
Solör Bioenergi Fjärrvärme AB is one of the leading companies within district heating in the Nordic region, delivering district heat to about 218 000 customers at different locations in Sweden, Norway and Poland.
SEVAB Strängnäs Energi AB is Strängnäs municipality’s local energy company, offering services such as electricity distribution, recycling, water and waste treatment, fibre, and district heating. SEVAB is wholly owned by Strängnäs municipality through Strängnäs Kommunföretag AB. The district heating business of SEVAB will be carved out into a new legal entity and Solör Bioenergi Holding AB will acquire 80 percent of the shares in the new legal entity.
