Roschier strengthens its IP and life sciences offering in Sweden
Roschier adds more senior expertise and experience in the area of intellectual property and life sciences by appointing Hanna Tilus to its team.
Roschier has in a short time grown to become one of the leading legal advisors in Sweden within the areas of Intellectual Property, TMT and Data Protection & Digitalization. The firm’s combined cross-border practice in Sweden and Finland is currently the largest of its kind in the Nordic region. To meet the increased demand for strategic advice in IP-intensive business operations, Roschier is strengthening its Swedish team by adding more senior expertise and experience through the appointment of Hanna Tilus. Hanna joins Roschier from a position as Senior Legal Counsel at Bayer, the multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company. Before Bayer, she worked at another major Swedish law firm. She has more than 10 years’ experience of working as a lawyer specializing in intellectual property, marketing law and the life science industry.
“We are very happy that Hanna will be joining our team. She is a brilliant advisor and we are thrilled that we will be able to share her wealth of experience with all of our clients, especially in the area of life sciences”, says Partner Erik Ficks who heads Roschier’s Intellectual Property practice in Sweden and acts as the firm’s main contact at the Stockholm office for clients in the Pharma & Life Sciences industry sector.
“These are very interesting times for pharma and life sciences companies. An ageing population and more connected devices on the so-called medtech arena call for innovative solutions and more specialist advice. Hanna’s expertise is second to none on the Swedish market in serving clients in this field”, says Björn Johansson Heigis, Partner and Head of Roschier’s TMT and Data Protection & Digitalization practices in Sweden.
