Roschier supports dialogue in a changing world

With global challenges ranging from security threats to sustainability concerns, creating space for thoughtful and inclusive dialogue is more essential than ever.

Recognizing this need, we recently hosted a panel of leading experts to explore developments in transatlantic and European relations. The webinar attracted hundreds of attendees and continued Roschier’s broader commitment to public conversation.

This builds on the House of Many Voices concept – an event series dedicated to inclusive conversations on timely societal issues. Now in its fourth edition, the event reflects Roschier’s ongoing efforts to encourage dialogue on issues that matter to its stakeholders and the wider community.

“We’ve seen growing interest among our stakeholders for forums where people can exchange ideas and engage in thoughtful discussion,” says Ami Paanajärvi, Partner at Roschier. “Through initiatives like these, we aim to bring people from different walks of life together – not to debate in adversarial terms, but to explore, understand, and reflect together.”

Roschier’s role goes beyond providing expert legal advice. As a firm deeply rooted in the Nordic region, it sees value in understanding the broader societal context in which its clients operate. Events like these exemplify how legal professionals can contribute to public dialogue in a meaningful and non-confrontational way.

“Even though our profession often involves navigating conflict or dispute, I believe lawyers are uniquely equipped to facilitate dialogue that is both respectful and constructive,” Ami says.

While these events naturally raise the firm’s visibility, the underlying motivation is deeper. For Roschier, it’s about living up to a wider responsibility.

“Our goal is not only to deliver excellent legal services, but to also understand and engage with the world our clients live in,” Ami says. “By creating platforms for open discussion, we hope to contribute positively to the societies we are part of.”

As geopolitical dynamics continue to evolve, we remain committed to providing platforms where diverse perspectives come together and meaningful conversations take shape. Stay tuned for updates on our stage at Almedalen and the upcoming House of Many Voices in Helsinki.
