Roschier’s corporate practice builds for the future
Manne Airaksinen continues to support Roschier's corporate practice in the role of Senior Advisor.
Acknowledged corporate law expert Manne Airaksinen assumes the role of Senior Advisor at Roschier.
A partner at the firm since 2008 and an author of numerous publications and articles on corporate law and the Finnish Companies Act in particular, the appointment enables him to more flexibly combine his academic work with client work going forward. Manne currently acts as professor of practice at the University of Lapland and was, inter alia, the lead author of the recent survey commissioned by the Council of State from Roschier on the amendment needs of the Finnish corporate law framework.
“We have a highly skilled and experienced cross-border team, and our advice is sought after especially in these uncertain times. It is great news both for us and our clients that we continue to have access to Manne’s rock-solid experience, while at the same time building for the future,” says Antti Ihamuotila, Head of Roschier’s Equity Capital Markets and Public M&A practices.
In June, Roschier boosted its corporate practice by promoting two new partners: Christoffer Benninge in Stockholm and Seppo Kymäläinen in Helsinki.
“With the promotion of Seppo and Christoffer to the partnership in June 2020 and my desire to continue my academic work alongside advising clients, this presents a great opportunity for gradual succession within our corporate practice without interruption to the high-end corporate services that we at Roschier continue to offer to our clients,” comments Manne Airaksinen.
