Laura Kaira is a Helsinki-based Senior Associate specialized in M&A and private equity. She has extensive experience in advising both Finnish and international clients in complex cross-border transactions, representing both private equity sponsors and corporate clients. In addition to her Finnish LL.M. degree, Laura has studied law at the University of Nottingham and holds an LL.M. (Corporate and Securities Law) degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She joined Roschier upon her graduation in 2017.

- Metso in the acquisition of Ab A. Häggblom Oy;
- Rovio Entertainment Corporation in the EUR 700 million all cash takeover of all shares in Rovio by Sega Europe;
- The main shareholders in the sale of Picosun Oy to Applied Materials, Inc.;
- Inflexion in its acquisition of Nomentia from PSG, Verdane and certain management sellers;
- Funds managed by Axcel Management A/S in the sale of the Aidian group, a global provider of in vitro diagnostics instruments and tests, to Nordstjernan;
- Finnish Minerals Group in the establishment of a pCAM battery plant in Hamina, Finland together with Chinese technology company CNGR Advanced Material;
- Ahlström Capital in the divestment of Destia to Colas;
- Mobidiag and its shareholders in the EUR 668 million sale of the company to Hologic, Inc;
- Thermacell Repellents, Inc. in its acquisition of the majority of the shares in Proviter Oy;
- Acting for Planeetta Internet, a Loopia Group company owned by the funds managed by Axcel Management A/S, in the acquisition of a web hosting services provider Suomen Hostingpalvelu Oy and Domainhotelli Oy from its owners;
- Luxcara, a leading asset manager for renewable energy, in acquiring the wind energy projects Välikangas, Sievi and Pihtipudas, located in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland;
- Humana AB in its acquisition of all shares in Coronaria Hoiva Oy from Coronaria Oy;
- Orkla ASA in their public tender offer for Kotipizza Group Oyj;
- Funds managed by KKR and Triton in the sale of Mehiläinen Group; and
- Lowell in the EUR 730 million acquisition of Lindorff’s businesses in Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Sweden, as well as Intrum Justitia’s business in Norway from Intrum.
